Customer challenge
No standard commercial RM SMT bobbin was available with sufficient terminals. Existing bobbins have pure tin terminations which is a prohibited material in space production.
Flux solution
Design and machining of flexible wire guiding systems for RM4 -RM12 components offering up to 20 terminals with a minimum footprint.
Special materials used to meet space requirement for surface treatment and outgassing properties.
